Method and disclosure: AmazingPlugins is building Amazing Security. Wordfence statements come from its Free help page and Free product page, reviewed September 28, 2026. We installed Wordfence 9.0.1 in a local fixture, but its scan needed a free API key we did not have. This is a documentation comparison, not a head-to-head detection or performance test.
Where we intend to add something useful
The planned independent verifier would check a suspected log or backup from outside the WordPress server, then let an owner recheck after a fix and watch for a later regression. The planned MCP connection would let an authenticated AI assistant read findings and request checks. Any supported fix would still require a separate approval inside WordPress.
Those are product goals, not measured advantages. We still need to test them against released tools and real hosting setups. Read the Amazing Security product plan or use the security checklist today.
